How is Pakistan coping with the safety risk from Afghanistan? | Pakistan Taliban

Islamabad has reported a rise in cross-border assaults by the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan.

Pakistan’s provinces alongside the Afghanistan border have come below repeated assault by the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, also called the TTP or the Pakistan Taliban.

Islamabad accuses the Taliban authorities in Afghanistan of permitting these fighters to make use of its territory to launch assaults. The Afghans deny the allegation.

What’s behind this surge? And is the Taliban authorities actually doing sufficient to cease it?
